Introducing new website

On May 22, 2022 by Drake

It is stressful and difficult. No matter if it’s an individual blog or a company site, the problem is the same: you have to get your site promoted to ensure that genuine, real-life visitors can discover you and enjoy your content.

In the last month, I’ve spent the last month working on my payment blog. When I first started, I made many errors. The thing that people aren’t aware of is that designing and building your website is just the beginning. The way you launch your website will determine the speed at which it goes live and gets going for you.

This article will provide you with the game plan of what you must do when you’re prepared (or nearly ready) to go live with your site to help you be prepared for some of the challenges I encountered:

1. Create a pre-launch website – Introducing new website

Even if your website isn’t yet ready for visitors isn’t a reason to stop advertising it. Actually marketing your site using the countdown prior to launch can create more excitement and interest than advertising it following it’s made available ( Let see Website launch checklist)..

Add a sign-up form to notify visitors of your launch. LeadPages provides low-cost launch page templates that you can apply to your website. If you are using WordPress then you can download and install a WordPress plugin such as EZP Easy Coming Soon Page and Easy coming Soon.

2. At least 3 pieces of content of top quality

The strategies you employ to promote your site are heavily based on the quality of your content. Customers will want to see quality content that’s relevant to your industry If they don’t get it, they’ll never return to your site.

Before you launch, you should write at least three (minimum 3- ideally 10) articles that have amazing content. If you are able to write more than 1,200 words for each piece, you will have the best chance of getting ranked in search engines and have the highest chance of getting hyperlinks to your website.

Some ideas for content for these initial pieces might be:

  • How do you post.
  • Expert roundups: Contact the top specialists in your area their thoughts or suggestions regarding a specific area.
  • Tutorials.
  • Practical suggestions for overcoming the common issues within your field.
  • Questions in your field.
  • A list of industry terms.

3. Provide your visitors with a means to sign-up for your email list.

An email list gives you the opportunity to stay in touch with your customers even if they do not ever visit your site ever again. Join an email marketing company such as MailChimp or AWeber and then choose one of their templates to include an opt-in option on your website.

Be sure to give your people a reason to sign up for your mailing list, for example an ebook for free or guide with important information to your group of readers.

4. Begin networking with influencers in your area of expertise

This method is best used for non-commercial website; however, it could also be useful for businesses with plenty of interesting content.

Contact well-known individuals in your field and inform them know about your brand new website. Aren’t sure who to approach? Make use of a tool like BuzzSumo to locate journalists, bloggers, and businesses as well as social media influencers who may want to share your blog and their following.

I would suggest beginning slowly by following their social media accounts, and sharing their content to your network (no regardless of what size). Check out their blog posts and make thoughtful comments. After a while you could send them an email that contains an introduction. Do not request that they publish your content. If your content is of high quality they’ll be able to recognize it and will share it themselves.

5. Set online notifications for your blog’s title

When you’re promoting your website it is important to stay informed of when and where your website is featured online. This will allow you to gauge the effectiveness in your efforts to reach out, and focus your efforts on methods that are working.

To be informed of any media or blog mentions. To know what others commenting on your website through social networks, you can try Mention as well as Hootsuite.

6. Get free links and promote your business by registering with HARO

If you’re the owner of a new website, gaining attention for your site isn’t easy. But, using a service such as Help A Reporter (HARO) is probably the best option to get free PR immediately.

Once you’ve signed to join, you’ll receive questions from the media daily, three times. If you come across a question you’re able to address Send an email to the journalist right away providing detailed information about the question , and providing links for one or two of your impressive blog posts that pertain to the question.

7. Upload via an XML sitemap

A XML sitemap can be described as a file that provides search engines with an overview of the pages and content on your website. It helps Google to browse your website more efficiently, which means your site’s content will be found faster.

If you own your own WordPress website, you can install and download the Google XML Sitemaps plugin. If you use any other platform, you can create a sitemap using the XML Sitemaps generator, and then upload it to the root directory of your site (e.g., www.yoursite.com/sitemap.xml).

8. Learn the fundamentals of SEO

Although you don’t have to be an expert in SEO to begin ranking on search engines, it’s crucial to have a few fundamentals in place. Some of the most essential elements to put in place prior to launching your website are:

  • Utilize the keywords you want to rank for (words and phrases you wish to be ranked for) strategically on your site such as your navigation bar as well as your title tags, header tags for your posts, title tags for your posts alt image tags etc.
  • Always add new content.
  • Link to your site.
  • It is important to ensure that your URLs are composed of words rather than figures or other symbols (this is known as the permalink structure).
  • Check that your website is mobile-friendly.

If you own an WordPress website, begin by installing and downloading a plugin such as Yoast SEO. This will make sure that you’ve got the fundamentals that you need.

9. Install Google Analytics – Introducing new website

With the amount of time and effort you’ll put into marketing your website it’s essential to know precisely how much traffic is coming in and the sources that these visitors come from. Google Analytics is free, simple to set up, and will assist you in figuring out the strategies that are working (and the ones that aren’t).

10. Make sure to add your website to Google’s Search Console – Introducing new website

It is the Google Search Console (formerly Google Webmaster Tools) is a collection of tools developed by Google to assist you with managing how well your website on the search engines. If Google detects any problems on your website it will be informed.

Some of the most crucial details you will be able to obtain once your website is verified includes:

  • Links to your website.
  • Manuel action (penalties) for your website.
  • If Google is experiencing difficulty in accessing specific areas of your website.
  • How do you know if your site is deemed “mobile-friendly.”
